21 Duel Blackjack is an exciting new Blackjack variation that has recently been released on the Playtech network of casinos including 32 Vegas Casino, Euro Grand Casino and Casino Tropez. It is a fun game based on traditional Blackjack, but is played with community cards to give the game an exciting twist!

21 Duel Blackjack is played against the dealer. Like traditional Blackjack the object of the game is to have a total higher than the dealer without going over 21. Place an ANTE and an optional side bet, and click on the DEAL button to start the game. You will then be  dealt two cards, one face up and one face down. The dealer will be dealt two cards face down. Two more community cards will be dealt face up in the middle of the table which can be used in both your hand and the dealer's hand.

Once the cards have been dealt, you have the option to fold your hand and lose your ante wager, or continue with the hand. If you choose to continue you need to place an additional wager and select one of the communal cards from the middle of the table to use with your face-up card.

The points total of your hand should now be displayed. Like traditional Blackjack, you now have the option to either hit or stand with your hand. If you have a strong hand, or already have 21, then you can STAND and keep your two face-up cards and discard your remaining down card. If you have a weak total, then you can HIT and open your face-down card to improve your total. If your total exceeds 21, then you bust and you lose your wagers.

If you still have a live hand, the dealer then exposes one of his cards and chooses a community card according to a strict set of rules. The dealer must then always hit if his total is 16 or lower, and stand on 17 or above. If the dealer's total is less than 13 then the dealer does not qualify and you win 1:1 on your ante bet and your additional bet is pushed, even if your own total is lower than the dealer's. If you have the same total as the dealer then all bets are pushed, however if your total is higher then you will win 1:1 on all bets.

21 Duel Blackjack also features an attractive "2 Up" side bet. This is an optional side bet on the first three cards to be shown on the table (your face-up card and the two communal cards). If these cards contain any pair, you win 3:1 on your bet. If the three cards make up Three-Of-A-Kind, you win 20:1 on your bet.

If you're a Blackjack player who is looking for something different then why not try out 21 Duel Blackjack to add an interesting twist to your regular game!
